Belgian Waffles

There are some things that you think of both winter and summer, spring and fall-when it comes to food at least! Waffles are one of those. You can eat them on a hot summer day with vanilla ice cream, with a mug of hot choco in winter, with fresh berries at the beginning of autumn and in spring.........who knows? Maybe just with some good ol' cream! They also taste great in their simplest form, or with some icing sugar sprinkled on top-but always best hot!

Ingredients:
-6 eggs
-1/2 Tsp Salt
-300g Sugar
-1 Pk. Vanilla sugar
-180g Butter, melted
-375g Flour
-Icing sugar

Instructions:
1. Seperate the egg white and yolk. Whisk the egg white with the salt until stiff. Whisk the egg yolk with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the melted butter.
2. Alternately add an amount of flour and egg white to this mixture.
3. Grease the waffle iron. Always spread around 3 spoons of dough on it and wait until the waffles are light brown. Sprinkle icing sugar on top.
Enjoy!
